Catalina Island Road Repair

This multi-year partnership between the Marine Corps and the Catalina Island Conservancy will include roadway repair to more than seven miles of horizontal facilities on the island. The project will address existing damage from wind and rain erosion, improve drainage through installation of culverts, and enhance safety for both vehicular and foot traffic.

Cleveland National Forest - Cabins

This multi-year partnership between the United States Forest Service and the Marine Corps will provide critical Civil Engineering support to remove obsolete facilities and restore natural habitat in the Cleveland National Forest. Service personnel will train in demolition calculations, explosives to remove old camp site structures, heavy equipment operation, and mobilization activities.

This multi-year partnership between the United States Forest Service and the Marine Corps will provide critical Civil Engineering support to conduct dam removal and habitat restoration activities in the Cleveland National Forest. Service personnel will receive training in demolition, construction, heavy equipment operation, logistics, and explosives to remove obsolete water impoundments, mine shafts, and building infrastructure.
